I. Overview

The AWA5661 sound level meter is a modular, multi-functional sound level meter that implements the requirements of GB/T 3785.1-2010 and IEC 61672-1:2013 standards for Class 1 sound level meters, and its sensitivity to radio frequency fields is Class X.

This instrument adopts advanced digital detection technology, which greatly improves the stability and reliability of the instrument. It also has a large dynamic range, simple operation and wide range of uses. The shell is made of ABS engineering plastic, with beautiful appearance, light weight and easy to carry; battery powered, low power consumption; RS-232 digital output interface, which can be connected to a computer for remote control and telemetry, or multiple sound level meters can be networked and used with a computer Control and measure simultaneously.

This instrument can be widely used for industrial noise measurement and environmental noise measurement of various machines, vehicles, ships, electrical appliances, etc., especially for measuring pulse noise. It is suitable for factories and enterprises, environmental protection, labor hygiene, teaching, scientific research and other fields.

There are several varieties of AWA5661 sound level meters. Their structures and working principles are the same,

Only the test microphone and software authorization are different.

2. Main technical performance

(1) Microphone: AWA14425 type test microphone, free field type, the reference point is the center of the microphone diaphragm, their nominal free field response in the reference direction is shown in Appendix A.

(5) Total measurement range: (25~140) dB

——High range: (45~140)dBA, (50~140) dBC, (55~140) dBZ

Note: The above measuring range is the factory value. When the user adjusts the calibration value or replaces the microphone, the measuring range may change. The specific range is determined by the overload indication and the lower limit indication.

(6)Local noise:

Electrical noise of this machine: ≤18 dB (A-weighted), ≤23 dB (C-weighted), ≤28 dB (Z-weighted)

(7) Frequency weighting: A weighting, C weighting, Z weighting, see Appendix B for response in free field

(8) Time weighting: F (fast), S (slow), I (pulse), Peak (peak value)

(9) Detector characteristics: true effective value, digital detection, crest factor ≥10

(11) Range control: manual, high and low levels, 20 dB attenuation in each level, reference level range linear range >95 dB.

Note: Some configurations do not have RS232, USB, and Bluetooth interfaces

(14) Calibration: Use a Class 1 sound level calibrator or piston sounder.

——Lithium battery (optional): After fully charged, it can work continuously for more than 16 hours

Note 1: Test conditions: Under normal temperature and pressure, the instrument only has basic measurement functions.

Note 2: When equipped with recording function, the power consumption increases by 40 mA. After turning on Bluetooth and parallel connection, the power consumption increases by about 10 mA~20 mA.

Built-in charging module, the lithium battery model is AWA-LP103760, 3.8V/2000 mAh, which can be charged at the USB port with a 5 V external power supply.

(20) Measurement range that can be achieved when other microphones are selected (1 kHz):
