The high current generator is a necessary high-precision, high-current measuring instrument in the laboratory. It is selected based on the measurement accuracy of the current transformer under different loads. Compared with ordinary ammeters, it has the advantages of simple structure, high reliability, powerful functions, and easy use. It also has the characteristics of small size, light weight, simple operation, and reliable performance.


Uses of high current generators:

It is mainly used to test the maximum working voltage and working current that various electrical equipment and electrical components can withstand under specified conditions. It can also be used to conduct related tests on various electrical equipment and electrical components.

Structure of the instrument:

It is mainly composed of reactor, voltage regulator, ammeter, load and other parts. The reactor is the core component. It is composed of a reactor and a set of loads. When the current on the primary side reaches the rated value, the current on the secondary side of the current transformer also reaches the rated value. When the current on the primary side reaches the rated value, we can control the current on the load through the load to make it meet the requirements.

Control System:

The high current generator produced by our company adopts single chip control technology and microcomputer control to ensure the stability of the output voltage, high precision and fast response. The current setting value is adjustable from 0-10A. The greater the current, the greater the output current. And can automatically maintain stable current output. This machine has complete protection functions. When an operation failure occurs, the power supply will automatically cut off and an alarm will sound. The shutdown time can be set once an hour or twice continuously. When the machine works continuously for three minutes, it will automatically enter the shutdown state. At this time, the instrument will no longer be able to be turned on. If you need to reboot, you need to press the power button to reboot.

Booster:

The function of the booster is to convert high-voltage voltage into low-voltage DC voltage, which is used to boost the voltage to the output voltage required for the test to ensure that the test equipment can operate safely. In the power system, the function of the booster is to convert high-voltage DC voltage into low-voltage DC voltage to provide reliable high-voltage power supply for the operation of high-voltage switches and accident protection. The booster mainly consists of a transformer, a step-up transformer, a high-voltage rectifier device and a protection device.

1. Transformer: plays the role of reducing voltage.

2. Step-up transformer: Converts high-voltage DC voltage into low-voltage DC voltage.

3. Step-up transformer: It plays the role of step-down to stabilize the output high-voltage voltage at the voltage required for the test.

4. Protection device: When the output high voltage is too high or too low, the protection device will automatically cut off the high voltage output and stop the equipment from working.

Output current range:

The rating of a current transformer device is determined based on the maximum current required by the circuit under test, which means that different circuits require different currents. Therefore, if you want to use a large current generator in the laboratory, you must determine the range of its output current. At the same time, there are also certain requirements for the selection of output current, which requires us to choose according to actual needs.

There are two types of high current generators, namely standard type and control type. The standard large current generator is composed of a standard transformer and an adjustable variable current transformer. It can achieve a standard current output of 50A~1000A.

Output waveform:

The output waveform is the output current waveform, which is mainly realized through the output current transformer. Output current transformer refers to an electrical device that converts the current of the measured object into voltage. It generally adopts a series or parallel structure. Because of its small size, light weight, and ease of use, it has been widely used in industry. For example, in industrial automation control systems, the step-up transformer as the power supply is an important guarantee for the normal operation of electronic equipment.
