Cassette furnace, also named Cassette sample moisture injection device, The principle is to heat the sample above the boiling point of water in a closed sample bottle, and then use dry carrier gas (dry air or high-purity nitrogen) to load the water vapor evaporated from the sample bottle into the Karl Fischer reagent of the moisture meter and measure its moisture content.

The moisture analyzer based on the principle of Karl Fischer titration is suitable for some samples that are insoluble in Karl Fischer reagent or samples that have redox reaction with Karl Fischer reagent. For example, plastic particles, rubber, graphite, lubricating oil, solid medicine, etc. cannot directly measure the moisture content of these samples, and it is necessary to use a "cassette furnace" to process such samples to complete the moisture measurement.
