HZSY-7 Portable Infrared Oil Measuring Instrument is aimed at the measurement and detection of petroleum, animal and vegetable oil content in groundwater, surface water, domestic sewage and industrial wastewater, and the concentration of cooking fume in the catering industry. Use carbon tetrachloride to extract oily substances in water, determine the total extract, then absorb the extract with magnesium silicate, and measure petroleum after removing polar substances such as animal and vegetable oils. The content of total extracts and oils are determined by the wave numbers of 2930cm-1 (stretch vibration of C-H bond in CH2 group), 2960cm-1 (stretch vibration of C-H bond in CH3 group) and 3030cm-1 (stretch vibration of C-H bond in aromatic ring) respectively.
