I. Overview

This instrument is a portable coating (plating) layer thickness gauge. It can quickly, without damage, and accurately measure the thickness of coatings (such as paints, anti-corrosion layers), coatings, and film thicknesses. This instrument can be widely used in manufacturing, metal processing, chemical industry, commodity inspection and other detection fields, and is an essential instrument for material protection professionals.

This instrument complies with the following standards:

GB/T 4956─2003 Magnetic method for measuring thickness of non-magnetic coating on magnetic substrate

GB/T 4957─2003 Measurement of thickness of non-conductive coating on non-magnetic metal substrate Eddy current method

JB/T 8393─1996 Magnetic , eddy current coating thickness measuring instrument

JJG 818─2005 " Magnetic, Eddy Current Coating Thickness Measuring Instrument"

 

II. Technical Parameters

Both magnetic and eddy current thickness measurement methods are used. By selecting the corresponding probe, it is possible to measure the thickness of the non-magnetic coating on the magnetic metal substrate and the thickness of the non-conductive coating on the non-magnetic metal substrate;

Measuring range: ( 01250 ) μ m (F1, N1 probe), F10 probe can reach 10mm;

Resolution: 0.1μm ( F1, N1 probe ) ;

Indication accuracy: ± ( 3%H+1 ) μ m ; H is the measured coating thickness;

Display method: high-contrast segment code LCD display, high-brightness EL backlight;

Storage capacity: can store 20 groups (up to 50 measured values per group) of measurement data;

Unit system: metric (μ m ), imperial (mil), freely convertible;

Working voltage: 3V (2 AAA alkaline batteries);

Continuous working time: more than 200 hours (when the backlight is not turned on);

Communication interface: USB1.1, can connect and communicate with PC;

III.Main Functions

There are five types of probes to choose from, and the contact parts of the probe are plated with hard chrome or ruby, which is durable;

By selecting the corresponding probe, it is possible to measure the thickness of the non-magnetic coating on the magnetic metal substrate and the thickness of the non-conductive coating on the non-magnetic metal substrate;

It has the functions of zero-point calibration, one-point calibration and two-point calibration of the probe , and the system error of the probe can be corrected by the basic calibration method;

There are two measurement methods: single measurement method and continuous measurement method;

With measurement status prompt function;

With EL backlight display, it is convenient to use in dimly lit environment;

There is a remaining battery indicator function, which can display the remaining battery power in real time;

With automatic sleep, automatic shutdown and other power-saving functions;

With USB1.1 communication interface, the measured value can be transmitted to PC;

It can be equipped with microcomputer software, which has rich functions such as transmission of measurement results, measurement value storage management, measurement value statistical analysis, and measurement value report printing;

It adopts aluminum shell, compact, portable, solid and durable, suitable for harsh operating environments, and resistant to vibration, shock and electromagnetic interference.

The surrounding environment has no strong vibration, no strong magnetic field, no corrosive medium and severe dust.
