I.Overview
The wide temperature range dropping point tester of lubricating grease is designed and manufactured according to GB/T 3498 standard and is suitable for measuring the wide temperature range dropping point of lubricating grease. The instrument has the characteristics of low power, safety and reliability. The instrument is controlled by a single-chip microcomputer, which can automatically interpret the dropping point, record the temperature, and calculate the dropping point. The operation is convenient and intuitive.
Fill grease cups with grease into test tubes, which are placed in a pre-set constant temperature aluminum block furnace. A thermometer is placed in the test tube, the thermometer is not in contact with the grease sample, and the temperature in the test tube is measured under the condition that it is not in contact with the sample. When the temperature in the test tube rises to the point where the first drop of grease drops from the grease cup to the bottom of the test tube, record the temperature displayed by the thermometer as the observation dropping point, accurate to 1 °C. At the same time, record the temperature of the aluminum block furnace, accurate to 1 °C, take one third of the difference between the temperature of the aluminum block furnace and the temperature of the thermometer in the test tube as a correction factor, and add it to the observed dropping point, which is the dropping point of the grease sample.
